Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
Wed probably sell a few more shirts if the club allowed third party sale. But as they argue, they don't make any money from it. But then as flunkeys like Forever point out, Newcastle get a better sponsorship deal because they sell more shirts.. . So who to believe.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
Well if the old deal was 3 mill a year until summer 2017 and the new one is 5.75 a year until summer 2018 (apparently) then if my arithmetic isn't wrong, we have essentially signed a one year extension for around 11.25 million before negotiating a new deal from summer 2018. Not at all bad financially.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
OTB your wasting your time. Norf thinks we have hundreds of thousands of shirts stored in the basement as backup.

Norf - it takes time. Orders go in MONTHS before they're received.

I think we better watch agent Forever here.

OTB
We turn over over 100million a year your telling me we couldn't have them made that's complete bollox
Adidas provide us kits under contract I can't imagine why they wouldn't produce more for the players if asked
Just makes the club look amatureish

Forever, you sound like the sort of middle management flunkey that abound over at upton park. You know, the ones the worship the ground 'KB' walks on.

What are the club supposed to do if adidas wont provide any more shirts?

There is no alternate.

Too many people on here think we are a bigger club than we actually are.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
Gav, whilst in your fantasy world companies line up to secure 1.5 year deals with us to fill gap until we sign a mega deal, in the real world KB secured record deal taking us to OS, hard work now, next deals we should be looking to top likes of Newcastle and start the assault on 6th but there is no certainty in that. Your naivety about size of Newcastle fan base and how it is possible for them to negotiate a better deal leaves me wondering if you bother to understand anything before wading in.

If you don't wear replica kits in the NE, you're considered to be a right weirdo.

Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
selling loads of newcastle shirts just means wonga will be seen loads of times a day in newcastle.

swindon hammer 7:24 Sat Feb 7
Re: Betway - New Shirt Sponsor
You only have to watch a Newcastle game to know they sell much more shirts than we do. Practically every fucker in there crowd is wearing one.

In terms of fan base in England we are about 11th or 12 so I don't think we are underachieving as far as sponsorship deals go.
